Cats: odd things|The Gifted Typist took a good ole tumble down the north face of K2 (WordPress template) today. Lost the whole blog for awhile. Apologies to visitors who found nada for a few scary hours today.
Crampons are back on and ropes are secured for the final descent.

I hear that, like Everest, most deaths occur while descending K2 after summitting – perhaps overconfidence, leads to a misstep, and then its all over.
Glad to hear all is now well, and we can call off the rescue effort.

No TB, it’s not overconfidence, it’s ignorance, mostly. I’ve never climbed a mountain before and I don’t know what I’m doing so I’m bound to take a mis-step. Got lucky this time.
