GT back up again after shutdown
Cats: odd things|Apologies again, GT visitors. Today, The Gifted Typist took another tumble down the North face of K2. This time it was an exceeded bandwidth that shut ‘er down. My excellent host Zipium has sent in the rescue squads in the form of a temporary extra bandwidth. We now trying to work out the problem. This site has been getting increased spam messages and hits by weird “bots” and search engines. But the numbers aren’t outrageous, at least not yet. Anyone with any ideas or suggestions on keeping bandwidth usage down. BTW, I do compress my images and use a good spam filter.

Two minimize the bandwidth problem:
1) Stop telling people about your website, and encourage visitors not to tell their friends.
2) Stop being so cheap and buy some more bandwidth.
In all seriousness, which is very difficult for me, would it help to host your images on ImageShackTM ou simla? See.
