Diary of a failed geek
Cats: blogs|I’m going to come clean here and stop pretending that I know anything about this bloggie world. The fact is, I don’t.
And the more I get into it, it seems the less I know. I think this is good because I’ve learned a lot in the past year or so, but sometimes it feels as though they keep moving the goalposts. I’m just getting up to speed with one thing (XHTML, for example) and then boom! something else drops on my head from outer space. This week the bloggie boogie man is the computer language PHP which I’m supposed to know something about, apparently.
Anyway. Nuff said. I’m an ignoramus. What else is there to say, other than the fact that GT has been “claimed” by Technorati. Can anyone explain what that’s going to do for me?

I am an expert in all things computer and I invented the Internets. I am

Dale doesn’t speak Spanish, he’s from New Brunswick.
And Gallego is hard, man! I can barely understand that. My dad was born in San Sebastian but raised in Madrid, and my mum is from Madrid.

San Sebastian? Do you speak Basque too. That’s one bad ass language, or so I understand.
I always wanted to go to San Sebastian, but My Spain is Galicia, the land of Gallego (the language and the soup!)
May 15th, 2007 at 5:30 pm
Nope, no Basque, unfortunately. And yes, it’s a crazy killer language.

San Sebastian is a nice little city, but I totally get the lurve of Galicia. Feel free to make me soup anytime!
And here’s something else since everything is always about me:

I think it’s all about ‘hits’. The more hits they get on their site the more commission they get from the advertizers. By blog linking they hope to get more traffic (hits).
Think = weak guess based on extremely limited knowledge; see also ‘ignoramus’.

Yes, Dick, u r right again. It’s all about the the hits. Technorati knows what they are doing and I still live in the land of the ignoramuses. (ignorami?)

Hey! What did she about me, at me, to me?
May 16th, 2007 at 4:36 pm
What did she say…is what I meant to um, er, say.
May 16th, 2007 at 4:40 pm
Haha, Dale, you dummy!

Now, children. Repeat after me: New Brunswick is lovely and so are tapeworms!
