How many patronage dollars does it take to screw a Nova Scotian?
Cats: politics|The ad asks: How many Nova Scotians does it take to change a lightbulb.
The ad answers: One.
But that’s not quite the case, is it? The ad is sponsored by the government-funded Conserve Nova Scotia. CNS employs Heather Foley Melvin ($100,000+ per year) who got the job with no competition because she used to work for Preemo Roddo. He admitted she was a patronage appointment but did nothing about it. HFM also used to be a manager in the automobile industry, and we all know what a beacon of energy conservation best practice the automobile industry is. In fact, so ignorant was HFM of conservation issues when she took the helm that she had to contract out the “vision” for Conserve Nova Scotia.
So let’s get this straight (in the Bob Newhart one-sided telephone sketch sense). We have a patronage-appointed, former automobile executive who is ignorant of conservation issues working for a government-funded energy conservation body that is asking the question: How many Nova Scotians does it take to change a lightbulb?
Hmmm. Let’s ask it this way: How many trough-swilling patronage barnyard animals does it take to screw a Nova Scotian?

Well put!!! Preemo Roddo (Rodney MacDonald) appears to be so steeped in the stove top tea of the ol’ patronage ways that he doesn’t even think it is wrong.
Perhaps he and Paul Wolfowitz should compare notes … at least there is a mechanisms to fire the Wolfman (no, Prem Roddo, not ‘Wolfman Jack’)
Oh, by the way, the problem in Nova Scotia, according to the governements latest ‘happy clappy fest’ is that people are just too negative!!!
Mmmmmmmm!!!!

I know. Next thing you know they will impose a quota on good news, requiring all media to give 50% of their news content to happy clappy good news like they have in russia
