After all the belly aching about password fatigue, I’ve received a lot of information from companies offering solutions. So I tried one. And guess what?It worked. Passpack  is an online password manager. It’s still in Beta and seems to work, although I had trouble signing with Mozilla. It’s fine in Explorer.

It’s fast and easy to use. And I’m not the only one to think so. It’s been getting some good press, largely because it’s an online application and you don’t have to load software on your computer.

It does take some precious time to enter your password data, but once you find your password sources, it’s pretty easy. It also comes in handy for things like serial numbers etc. You will have to remember your username, passwork and unpack key, but after that everything’s store for you.

Here is an info sheet with screen shots.

And here is the Passpack blog with lots of tips. If you try it, let me know what you think.
