Wow! Not only are you a gifted typist, but a gifted photographer as well.
I’ve never commented before, but I read your blog every day. It’s always entertaining.
Thanks so much for sharing the pictures - they are wonderful.

I am very jealous that you got to see a real live monkey. So jealous. :’(

Deepti, would it make you feel better if I told you I live with one?

Actually, he’s more Yard Ape than monkey, but the two are of the same gene pool

It’s like I was there!
Good job GT.
The bird over water is a type of egret, but thanks for letting us know it was a bird… and that boat really was in the water!
Exactly whose hand is the croc-ile-dile eating? I wouldn’t consider that to be ‘best practice’ for the Costa Rican tourism industry.
I almost apologized for my sarcasm, but decided I should be thanking you for the opportunity.

I’m afraid that hand was mine. I made the sacrifice so that I could bring this pictures to you and other readers of this blog. My loss is your gain.

Great Crocs - my don’t they have sharp teeth - I hope that was your big ass telephoto lens that took you that close, as opposed to the quest for a great shot of the beasts.

Those were amazing photos — my personal fave is the washline scene

Yup, long lens for sure, but even then it felt a little too close for comfort
The shots of house and washlines were taken from the back of a moving bus shooting really fast which is why you get movement in certain shots.
Thanks
