The little rhubarb patch that thought it could
Cats: slack woman|It’s been jumped, walked over, dripped on with bright blue paint, built on and picked into submission, a yet, that little rhubarb patch refuses to quit.
Not even the weeds can grow in that spot, but year after year without fail that thing sprouts as if to spite.
It should not be alive, but it will not die.

I love rhubarb. Don’t really have a place for a patch. I am envious — what is better than strawberry rhubarb pie?

Jacy, we just threw out 18 pounds of rhubarb from the garden! If it grows again, I’ll save it for you. I think it is poison, though.

I’ve never contemplated Toronto rhubarb. I’m in Toronto now so I’m contemplating Toronto everything… see you gals tomorrow!
