Good one. Progressive parents translates into ‘dicipline averse’ parents in my mind. Kids are trained that there are no such things as consequences; protected from dicipline, they eventually graduate from school (maybe) but can’t hold down a job, get beat up with some frequency, and spend the rest of their lives blaming other people for their unhappiness.
I deserved every crack upside the head I got. It taught me consequence and respect.
I have two outlaws, one with discipline and one without. Two kids each, one pair irritating, one pair a pleasure to be around. Can you match the zygotes with the parenting model?:D
