Weekly column: Lovin’ surprises; hatin’ surprises
Cats: Uncategorized|A surprise is a mixed blessing.
On the one hand, there is the anticipation of the unknown which is good.
And on the other hand, there is the anticipation of the unknown which is not good.
It isn’t so much the surprise that drives me bonkers, it’s the not knowing. I can’t stand not knowing. It makes me squirrelly. And this weakness in my character is the fiddle people play to make me crazy.
Go here to find out what the surprise was.

Hi Gail,
I read your column thia a.m. and felt I should help allay your angst at the prospect of a sub-par performance by the Police. I went to their concert in Toronto back in June and it was fabulous! Sting still has the pipes to belt out the tunes, rest assured, you will enjoy the show
Keep up the great work in the column, always a treat to digest on a friday morning.
