A sqeeze, a squirt and a slurp
Cats: Canada, food|On Saturday night, an oyster feed was had at my house. Oysters are not for everyone. But for me, a feed of fresh raw Nova Scotian oysters is as good as it gets. With a squeeze of lemon, a squirt of tobasco and a slurp of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, you realize that life does not get better

Blahghghahghehch (gagging and wretching noise, if I had that fancy recording thingy it would sound more realistic…)
But a good feed of scallops, then yer talkin’.

YAM, Dick, I love it when people don’t like raw oysters… that means more for meeeee. Dick, never had em bbq’ed
Lori and YAM, our oyster supplier is bringing on scallops next. Apparently they are bliss.

Two inch diameter cage grown bay scallops, steamed with garlic and parsley and served piping hot with linguine, cream and fresh parmesan! Bring on Saturday!!! Too bad you’ll be away GT or I’d invite you along (they would still be good on Sunday I suppose!!!). BTW, the oyster man is Phil Docker of Shandaph Oysters, Big Island, Merigomish, Pictou County, Nova Scotia (http://www.shandaph.com/index.html)
