The prime minister and the dying llama

Upon hearing on CBC radio that Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper was meeting with the Dalai Lama this week, one of the little typists replied in earnest: “Mummy, why is Harper meeting a dying llama?”

I understand the Dalai Lama has a great sense of humour — I think he’d find that line extremely funny. A friend of mine mistakenly used the word “prostitutes” for “protestants” when we were in junior high. Our teacher got just a little red in the face
