Only three more sleeps…
Cats: blogs, travels, typist & typewriter|… until GT hightails ‘er up to Toronto to see The Police live in concert on Thursday. Reviews have been great and a weekend in Toronto is always divine.
And almost as exciting as The Police concert is the “Early Typewriters” exhibition at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). For any typist, this would be a must-do event, but for a gifted typist, it is absolutely mandatory. (I’m already anticipating the bragging rights this will give me at the next regional typists meeting.)
The trip will also involve a bloggie get-together featuring the lovely Tanya Espanya and Jacy. After our first meeting in June, we’ve managed to convince ourselves that we are not creepy-internet-axe-murderer types. Now we realize that we’re just creepy internet types without axes and it’s perfectly acceptable to socialize together.
Other activities will include meals in Chinatown, visits to second hand shops near Chinatown and Vietnamese iced coffee in Chinatown.
I will also brunch with my lovely, gorgeous and side-splittingly funny brother Anne Boone, as he is known here.
All suggestions welcome on food and other distractions in Toronto.

Aren’t you supposed to go up the CN tower when you visit Toronna? I understand the view of the smog is lovely this time of year.

No smog here, Dick, not at this time of year. It’s actually been very lovely here this fall, though today was rainy and windy.
Can’t wait to see you!

Too bad you couldn’t wait 13 more days which is when my new nephew will be arriving by scheduled C-section!

The Royal Winter Fair is on if you enjoy horse shows, etc. I enjoyed Casa Loma & it wouldn’t be as busy now as it was in August. We always make a stop at the World’s Biggest Book Store when we go to Toronto too.

It’s supposed to snow on Friday.

YAM, C-section. Already been there and done that, but thanks for the tip.
HnP, I do like winter fairs and I hope the biggest book store has it’s books stickered so that prices are on par!
Espanya, no, no, no, not snow!
