A whirl on the London Eye

*Note: Had some trouble with old Flickr plug-in. Sorry for problems if you stumbled upon GT on Monday afternoon. Found a new plug-in Pictobrowser from Kumara Sastry to link Flickr pictures. You control the pace by clicking the thumbnails below. Keep going as there is a second page of thumbnail pictures. Let me know if you have any problems.

These shots were taken on the shortest day of the year on the iconic ferris wheel in London. The day was cool and crisp with the lightest veil of humidity which made for good photography.

In many of these shots you can see the Gothic tips of the British Parliament buildings, including the Big Ben clock tower.

The spectacular JMW Turner sky provided a dramatic background. By underexposing the shots I was able to capture the drama of the sky which interested me more than the details of the buildings or the London skyline.
