Red
Cats: odd things, photos|Red, wherever it appears, jumps out and grabs you. That’s why it is the colour of emergency and caution. And that’s why it’s a photographer’s dream. These are some reds picked out from this typist’s collection.

I adore red but then again I just love all colours. That lobster looks scrumptious. What time is supper? I’ll bring wine.

I WANT THE LOBSTER

I’m allergic to lobster.
I think you should be publishing these into a coffee table book. You are such a wonderful photographer.

toccata, the lobster was scrummy.
BeckEye, mine too. I took it last year and gave it to someone as a Valentine’s photo. That’s as romantic as I get.
Jacy, the invitation is open this summer. lobster will be had.
Espanya, thanks, when I was a newspaper photographer I shot car crashes, barn fires and oxen pulls. Every since I’ve been searching for beautiful things to shoot. You can sort of understand….

I like the cherries. The composition of the shot reminds me of an oil painting (not a specific one, but just what you might see in a nice still life).

The coulours are so sumptuous, that they almost suck you right into the photos. Lovely, lovely.

Patrick, thanks, the light was low winter light, the table is oak (military surplus from the 50s). Those two things gave the shot warmth.
BB, thanks. You gotta love red.
