Welcome to Summer (theme)
Cats: blogs|So. I’ve heard you. Yesterday’s theme wasn’t doing it for you.
You said no personality. Corporate. Boring. Blah.
I wonder what Simon and Paula would have said.
So, here’s Monday’s theme. It’s call Summer. And appropriately it’s sunny outside my window this morning.
I’ve flirted with this one before. I’m going to make a few small changes to the font of the title, etc.

Much Fancier! I like it!! “this is not blogging this is typing” could stand out a bit more… because it is a good line….

Better. I agree with Nanc about “this is not blogging”. I also think it looks like the Home box is floating. Otherwise, I think it’s a good one.

Well, I didn’t get to see the earlier iterations, but I like the layout. It’s very…feminine…not that there is anything wrong with that.
Motor cars, motorcycles, gore, and/or filth would give it a wider appeal.

I like it … summer theme .. mmm … perhaps a seasonal theme … and holiday themes … hey, it works for Google … and it would give you a chance to occassionally appeal to the motorised-graphic-gore-ophiles … you could have your ‘deathe and dsmemberment’ theme … a ‘four horsemen of the apolcalypse’ theme … the possibilities are endless!!!

And I agree with what the others said about your tag line. And maybe the flowers looks a little too s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out.

Well now I’ve forgotten what yesterday’s version looked like! I do like the openness of this version - it’s clean and spacious without appearing stark. What Beckeye said, though, the flowers pic might be a little too large.

Much better - but the title colour blends with the background a little - maybe a light drop shadow is in order, and a funny box pops up when I rollover the title.

Thanks everyone. I’m playing with this in Dreamweaver. I’m not entirely in control of everything I’m doing so bear with me as I work through it.
