Food for thought
Cats: blogs, travels|Update: Yup, you’re right about the comments. I’ve darkened them and made them larger. Check it out. I’ve also increased the size of the font in the posts. This theme isn’t widgetized, meaning I have to go into the code to make changes in the sidebars.
This “What Not To Wear” blog styling exercise will not go on forever, so stay with me a few more days. I have a few more outfits I’d like to try on.
This one is called Zen and is yet another Milo design. I think I have a WordPress Theme Crush on Milo.
It’s foodie, Asian and orange.
My typist’s garret is orange.
My leather jacket is orange.
My purse is orange.
My wallet is orange.
So why not an orange blog?
You tell me.

It’s a lovely colour, although I wish this comments box wasn’t orange.
I like the clean lines, and it’s a cool image at the top. I still prefer the one with the messy desk, though.

I can’t read the comments…the type is too light??

WHy the hell not? It’s very pretty.
Except the comments section is next to impossible to read. Colour and font size.

I still prefer the last one. This one doesn’t really seem to fit.

This is nice, but the comments are almost impossible to read and it isn’t you, either. You are neither orange nor chicken.
Oh, I’ll have a number four with rice, no MSG and an extra egg roll, please.

All right lady, you’re driving me nuts now.
And boo, I don’t like orange.

Megan, yes, I don’t like the orange box either. Haven’t figured out where that is in the CSS.
Nanc, you and everyone else. I didn’t test the comments before I put this one up. I hope it’s better now.
Barbara, see above. I’m liking orange, but I wonder if it wouldn’t fatigue the eyes after awhile.
Chelene, duly noted. Hope you’re enjoying your holiday!
WP, good, glad I’m doing better on the themes for you. That number 4 is coming right up.
BeckEye, don’t cha know? Orange is the new Michael Johns!

I’d just like to point out that I read your blog via Google Reader, which strips out all the styles, colors, fonts, etc. you have been playing with.
Consequently, I have not commented on your experimentation with styles because I wasn’t aware of how each one looked.
Of course, to comment regarding this, I have to visit your blog page, which exposes me to your latest style experiment.
So I’ll just say this. It’s orangey.

It’s too empty IMHO, but that just might be my monitor. Not sure why everyone else has vision problems…probably too much blogging.

Splotchy, well thank you for letting me know. The posts must have looked silly in a decontextualized stripped-down form.
Dick, I fixed the problem this morning by adjusting the CSS code. It was dreadful before.

Love the orange. It says, “I’m kicky-cool, smart and sassy.” Very nice.

The header makes me want cream cheese and crackers.
My vote still resides with 3.

Nanc, anything makes you want to go out for after-school drinks and sushi
Doc, “ kicky-cool, smart and sassy.” I just might make the whole page orange for that. Thank you.
Daughter, thanks, you are a good guide
Allison, yes, or dim sum. Number three was the Mac Mess, wasn’t it.
