Our son tried to pay his Rogers bill at our local Rogers store last week. They would only take a cheque or Visa, they would not take cash or debit. They said the payment would be put in a courier envelope and shipped to another location within the province. When he asked them for a receipt they took a ballot entry for the local main street shoppers give-away contest, flipped it over on the blank side and wrote out his receipt. OMG, that’s not quaint anymore, is it?

Today he went to pay his final Aliant bill since moving home from university for the summer. He had the bill with him and the young clerk said that since his account was closed (he just received the bill today) that they were not able to process the payment. OMG — that’s not quaint either, WTF???

We need more competition — BRING IT ON!!!

I have a cell phone. I have never used it though. Down with Rogers!…but not the chocolates or sugar Rogers.
I suppose moderation is the key with either Rogers.

GT, I have been busy here and out of town. My e-world is the first to be sacrificed when I get busy. Also you have been ‘typing’ a lot about stuff I know nothing about…Idol, Sex in the City, cell phones, Lars, Martha Stewart,…
