Halloween pumpkin in window? On Sept 20th?
Cats: Uncategorized|Isn’t that a bit early?
Sept. 20 is still officially summer, innit?
But I swear I saw this on the front door of a house as I walked to Blockbuster with one of the little typists.
And do you know what was in the window of the house next door to the house with the pumpkin?
Christmas decorations.
On Sept. 20th.
Summer.
Christmas decorations in summer?
Is it just me? Or are these people suffering from seasonal holiday irrational exuberance?

It could be worse. I was at Costco yesterday, and they had a display of musical Christmas trees and lights up and running.

“Seasonal holiday irrational exuberance,” or S.H.I.E. We finally have a phrase that fits the whackos. Now if we could only think of a “T” word that would fit between irrational and exuberance, then I think the anacronym would be complete.

They really ought to let you off the ward once in a while Gifted Typist, arts and crafts day is out of control there!

I vote that we have Christoween in November.

I saw some Christmas trees in a store last week. You cannot have a tree up when you can still wear sandals, dammit!

Disrespectful yet again. Halloween decorations shouldn’t be allowed up before Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations shouldn’t be allowed up before Halloween. Where are the holiday police when you need them!?

Bubs, that’s just depressing
Doc, SHEI – perfect. Why didn’t I think of that.
Dale, you tell them for me – I want off the ward. Now!
Dick you will this months word blend award.
Beth, I think we should start of movement of ax-wielding sandal wearers attack pre-seasonal xmas trees. (PSXT)
YAM, hahaha!
maybe harper will make that part of his law and order agenda.

I’d be sorely tempted to drop a lit match on that house.
At my local Safeway, they’ve been pimping Hallowe’en candy since August. Should be good and stale in another month.
