GT gets Parental Guidance rating

That’ll have ‘em beatin’ a path to my blog.
“Wow! Look!” I can hear you all saying. “GT’s rated PG! That’s racy. Let’s get over there right away.”
The site scans your site and looks for naughty words etc.
The offending words on my blog were
* zombie (3x)
* hell (2x)
* steal (1x)
We wouldn’t want kids under the age of 13 years to see the words hell or steal. The zombie-word will be a reference to the Barbara the Bad Tempered Zombie who comments here and is rated a slightly more racy PG-13 (parental guidance strongly advised) for these words

- f**king (1x)

BeckEye’s The PopEye rated R for these offending words:

- crap (1x)
And Dr. Monkey’s Monkey Muck rated a very terrible N17, no one under 17 admitted.
His offending words were:

PS. I’m not a prude but the little typists sometimes look at this this blog so I’m using the * to lessen the impact of certain words. Besides I don’t want to end up with an N-17 rating like Dale.

I’m not at all sure what’s wrong with the word “zombie” though.

Wow. My writing language is much cleaner than my actual tongue. I’m only PG…for the words Zombie and Bastards. I’m surprised douchebag didn’t warrent a higher ranting. At least I have something to work towards now.

Amazing, I try so hard other than the violence and drugs in my stories to keep the blog PG-13. Oh well.

I’m at PG for the same reasons as you:
This rating was determined based on the presence of the following words:
* hell (3x)
* zombie (2x)
* steal (1x)
I don’t get why “zombie” is a word that determines your rank, or “steal” for that matter. Do they base their rankings on the seven deadly sins or something?
