Happy (insert name of winter festival here)
Cats: slack woman|Sometimes it’s just easier to let say it with parenthesis.
There are so many different ways to celebrate this time of year.
Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice. Midnight Madness at the Mall.
I don’t care. I really don’t. They can celebrate whatever they want, however they want. No one owns it.
I just like the idea that people still like to do something fun to distract us from the darkest time of the year.
So have a good (insert winter celebration of choice here) and a happy new year.

Yay for holidays of any sort:))

I like Christmas; at least that’s what most folks around here call the statuatory holiday. I am atheist, so really…call it what you may, as long as I get a paid day or two off work and get to imbibe with friends and family.
As an athiest I would also like to have a few days off around hanukkah, ramadan, and kwanzaa too.

And a “Happy I’m Broke Until February” to you, too!

Shelagh, welcome to GT. That could have been the post title.
Dick, Snort! I’m dying over here. The athiest demanding time and pay for the other religious observances.
Cormac, dang it. Why didn’t I put that in my column.

It’s a perquisite. I’m also in favour of new religions. The more the better, I say…from a statistical perspective anyway.

I just opened your cherry card mere minutes ago! And it was very tasty and refreshing.
I will celebrate anything that gives me an excuse to wear my pjs for a couple of days and drink in the afternoon while eating chocolate. Throw a roast turkey into the mix and I am in heaven, or Valhalla, or wherever.

I’m with Barb, anything that requires pj’s all day is tops.
The holidays were never really about religion for me. Just family time.
Awwww.

Have a great one, whatever it may be!

Totally agree with Barbara and Allison…oh, casual pajama clothing, get in my belly!

Dick, I’d have never thought you’d be a supporter of more religion but when you put it that way …
Barbara, you gotta love the holiday pjs
Allison, and relaxation and old movies
Ambera, you too
Espanya, you are such a slug, a lovely slobbery slug.

Christmas has always been about family for us. The down time after all the hectic activity leading up to it is also good.
I am a fan of the pjs as well.
