Which tweeps tweet on Twitter?
Cats: slack woman|See my column on Twitter and social media here.
So which one of you is on Twitter? It’s fun, like blogging on steriods.
(And you’re not allow to get all: ew, I’m not into that cuz I’m too good – unless you’ve had a go.)
As far as the bloggies go, I’m now following:
Lisa of That’s Why fame
cdp of (parenthetical) fame
I,Splotchy of I, Splotchy fame
Beth of Cup of Coffey fame.
Alias Grace of East Coast by Choice fame
Racquel of Smell the Glove fame, although that is not her Twitter handle
Who am I missing? Tell my your Twitter handle and I’ll follow you.
GT can be found and followed here.

Ah…I am probably going to climb onto the Twitter bandwagon, wheezing and complaining the whole while, some time in the next week or two. Same with Facebook. It’s finally hit critical mass with enough people I respect telling me I should do it, and pointing out the usefulness of it.

I LOVE Twitter. I’m still not on Facebook, and I don’t plan to join, but Twitter is so much fun, and is not at all time-consuming. It’s fun to see people’s random thoughts and observations and it’s also a fun challenge to come up with something good or funny in 140 characters.

I’m not quick and clever enough to use something like Twitter.

I already find it hard to play on the internet. I enjoy wandering around in the woods too much.
When I think of all the things I would like to do that I don’t have time to do there’s just no room for another distraction like Twitter.
Great article, GT.

Yes Bubs, get on Twitter, it’s perfect for your little twists and turns of phrase.
cdp, I’m still recovering from your Dirty Ho Tweets.
CP, bet you’d love it. Dare ya.
Dick, don’t think Twitter’s for dial-up but I bet you’d like it.
thanks

Yes, let’s all join Twitter. But first, consider:

Great article! I was recalling when I got my first email address, my first computer, etc as I was reading. Also the first time I used Google as a verb.
I am on Twitter, but I find it hard to keep up with both that and Facebook. I have tried to link the two with an application, but to no avail. Oh well.

I know I’m a Twitter slacker right now… maybe one day, I will join the Twitter ranks.

I remember the first time I used the internet. Although at the time, it didn’t even have a name. It was in grad school, nobody had pcs or god forbid laptops, and you had to walk all the way over to the Engineering building if you wanted to print something off.
And then, lo and behold, I got an online message from a friend at Carleton University. It was like Jesus himself had spoken to me!
But I’m still not on Twitter (or FB).

Doctor, hahaha
Allison, I have noticed that some people do link the two. I slacked off with FB after Twitter.
Cube, when you do, follow me and I will follow you, just like the Genesis song
Barbara, you are so funny – Jesus, himself.
And going over to the Engineeering building to print off. The things we did. Did you ever do the punch cards?

I came in just after the punch card era, thankfully.

I’ll never Tweet, of course I’m still on Netscape for (expletive) sake. BTW, blogging still rules over Facebook, only because of the depth.

EVERYONE is talking Twitter! there was an artical in the paper today about Ashton K. taking on CNN to see who can get the most followers??? I don’t understand?? Can you twitter on a computer or is a black berry necessary? I am Twitter-literate!

I had signed on to Twitter when it first started (doesn’t that sound so obnoxious? you know, because I’m such an early adopter and basically better than everyone?).
But hardly anyone I knew was on it, so I DELETED my account.
Then all my retards decided to go on and I had to go back on because I’m nothing without my people.
I actually had to WRITE to the twitter folks and ASK them to reinstate me because there was no other way to keep my moniker – You think I’m going to sign in with a different name?!
So, now I’m on it…and I continue to hate.
I hate facebooktwitterblogs…Can’t you people just come and live with me instead?
Oh, and hi Gail! I miss you, pookie!
