I’ve lost all my bookmarks
Cats: geeky things|You never realize how dependent you are on bookmarks, till you lose them.
Blogs, news, sites I need for my work – poof! All gone.
You never think about backing up your bookmarks.
IT happened while I was trying to install Google Chrome. It didn’t work and when I tried to revert back to normal, there was no more normal.
So I had to start installing things again. Not sure why Google Chrome would take out Firefox.
It’s taking some time to get back where I started and if I’m slow getting to some of your blogs, have mercy.
Please distill down the lesson that should be learned, and leave in comments.

I lost all my bookmarks on Firefox once. So I quit using it.

Google recently put my “favourites” in alphabetical order. They had previously been in chronological order, with the newest at the bottom. I knew where they were in the list and thewould identify them by sight without really absorbing what they were called. So now I’m having a hell of a time every time I need to find a link.
Does anyone know how to print the list including URLs?

I updated my explorer yesterday…when I opened my Primus work e-mail this morning all the graphics were changed, which was fine, just had to poke around to find where everything was. When I went to send an e-mail, it wouldn’t auto-complete the address as I started to type them in….not good and very frustrating. I used the system restore and all is how it should be again! Bu-bye Explorer 8

Obviously, the lesson is that my blog should be your home page.
I don’t know what I’d do if I lost my bookmarks. I wouldn’t even know how to get around.

…around the sites I usually visit, of course. I could still live my three-dimensional life, go to work, visit the park and so on.

There once was a typist so gifted
Tried Chrome but her bookmarks got lifted
She tried to be bold
Cus it glittered like Gold
But she ended up bitter and twisted

Everyone seems to love this Google Chrome, but everyone also seems to have nothing but problems with it. About 100 bloggers have convinced me to never go near it, whatever it is.

You’ve done like everyone else and succumbed to peer preasure, by dropping Write Procrastinator.
Not that I’m really bothered, it’s shuttered, but I’m just saying…

I’m sorry for your loss. My bookmarks are available at 27% off the original price if you’re interested. I even have a vintage Write Procrastinator available. It however, is priceless.

Aw, Dale, you are becoming my favorite north of the border denizen and are in the running for favorite person.
