Happy summer solstice
Cats: Canada|Today’s the day: Summmah.
It’s also the longest day of the year. Hooray.
It’s raining, but that’s OK, we’ve had a beautiful spring which is remarkable given the string of hideous springs we’ve had in these parts for the past 7 years: usually it’s three months of rain, fog and dampness.
So this typist isn’t complaining.
Long live summah!

Congratulations on the arrival of summah. Right on target here, today is the first day we’re starting our annual festival of humidity with temperatures expected to go over the 30 mark. Ahhh.

It’s dark as hell and quite cool here today, but at least we’ll be able to stay up late. Happy summer to you too!

Barbara, at least it’s not snowing there
Dick, the joys of northern dwelling
Allison, if it’s not snow in summer, that’s a good thing

I must say that I love the feel of the furnace-like vapor greeting when I open the door in the morning. I’m fond of the heat.
