Michael will become the undead, like Elvis and Marilyn
Cats: music|Now that he’s dead, we’ll be seeing a lot more of Michael Jackson.
Just like Marilyn and Elvis who are bigger in death that life.
These mega-celebrities are like the undead, ghosts of tortured souls who walk amongst the living for years and years after they’ve gone.
We’ll see Michael’s ghost in supermarket tabloids. There will be people claiming that he appeared at their back door. Neverland will become a shrine to his memory, like Elvis’ Graceland.
And a new character will enter the stage of impersonator industry.
This will be Michael’s greatest comeback.

I tell you, life’s becoming more and more like a Harmony Korine movie every day.

There’s already a story on the Daily Mail about how a CNN camera man caught his ghost on tape when they were filming at Neverland. Let the man rest already, cripes.

Michael was a freak. At least he became one. Can’t say the same about Elvis or Marilyn. I think Michael will spend a lot of time in the Weekly World News next to the part human part dolphin.

Barbara, ain’t it just!
Jenna, hey glad to see you here again. I knew it would happen but I didn’t think this soon
Dick, that’s a terrible thought for the dolphin

Gifted,
So true… Michael’s star may in fact ascend his previous earthly successes. I really think that considering Michael’s international acclaim we really ain’t seen nothing yet. I really don’t think it will be long and we’ll be seeing his face on stamps and plates and everything else that can contain his ghosty face. But the real glut will be of music apparently his vaults are full. Heck he might even give ol’ Tupac a run for his money once that stuff starts to see the light of day.
Great blog, very enjoyable!
Cheers,
Sean

Hey Sean welcome to GT, that’s an interesting point about his vaults of music, perhaps he will have the most successful phase of his career now
Ambera, yup, scary eh?

Michael is very much haunting my television right now, even ESPN’s Sportcenter mentioned a tidbit about the service at the Staples Center. There is no refuge anywhere on the dial, even in Cantonese and Korean!
