Hurricane update: it’s all good
Cats: Uncategorized|We had a good blow, some big waves, heavy rain and interesting cloud formations.
We all ran out and bought our wind-up radios, batteries, and tins of tuna.
Then we sat and waited for it to hit.
Stupid people went out on the rocks where furious waves were crashing. Some were sucked in but none were killed.
Luckily the hurricane and its most extreme elements stayed offshore and within a few hours it was over.
Phew! Close call.

Huh huhuhuhuhuhuh…you said you had a good blow. Huh huh.
See, we can joke about this since nothing bad happened.

I kind of miss living at the beach during storms, but it’s only fun when it’s a close call; not at all fun when there’s an actual disaster. I’m glad you’re all OK!

Well, it looks like tuna sandwiches for the next few days. Glad to hear you’ve weathered the storm.

I miss storms. Here we get the odd blast from a large thunderstorm, but that’s it. There is no one selling kites around here; no wind turbines; no exfoliation.
