Hurricane was boring; too bad for the Stupid People
Cats: Uncategorized|I’ve renamed the recent storm from Hurricane Bill to Boring Bill.
We were ready for a natural disaster. We ended up with a windy day and big waves.
Too bad for the Stupid People who when down on the slippery rocks to meet the hurricane-driven waves head on.
They needed a thrill so they risked their own lives and the lives of those who would have gone in to save them, had they been swept away.
The Stupid People want to prove that they aren’t boring like the rest of us. We heed the word of the police and stay a safe distance from the storm.
Sort of sad that the Stupid People risked so much for a storm that ended up being so boring.

I never understand those who stay in the eye of the storm.

Maybe it should be retitled “Hurricane Morty,” because it was as dangerous as the grizzled ancient grand uncle who you feed peanut butter, so he doesn’t say anything inappropriate at family gatherings.
