Turkey? No. I’ll have oysters for Thanksgiving
Cats: photos|With Canadian Thanksgiving here and gone, I’m again left wondering why people insist on celebrating with turkey. OK, yes there’s tradition, but with so many other delicious things to eat, why waste an occasion on a big butter-injected buzzard? Why not indulge in something really delish? Something like oysters, hot sauce and white wine.

If I didn’t love a turkey dinner so much I might try something different:)
Oysters might not be what I would switch to.Those pictures are gorgeous!

The pictures are great, but the oyster is an ugly creature. I love oysters, but make a point of not looking at them too closely before i eat them.
I’ve never cooked a turkey, yet i eat copious amounts annually due to the widespead phenomenon. I will be enjoying another turkey sandwich for lunch today.
If you are wondering why I put … it’s because it didn’t work.

I never have turkey at Thanksgiving, purely a sides girl, but I don’t eat meat, so that doesn’t really count. I’ve never had oysters before, your pictures are lovely! I might have to try them.

Why can’t we have both? I could support that.
