Give me a camera and put me in a city like New York with its energy, history, hustle, architecture, art, characters and icons and I’m in heaven. Here is my photo essay of my excellent weekend in New York. Or you can go to directly to Flickr for more explanation of the shots.

I spotted these tulips in late spring. They were growing at the entrance of my city’s lovely Victorian Public Gardens.
A few shots from below and a bit whiz-bam-bang with Photoshop and the Victorian charm is transformed into the 21st-century funky.

They informed me that the plugin didn’t work in Explorer. I got in touch with the developer and within hours he had a workaround.
