Gifted Typist

With Canadian Thanksgiving here and gone, I’m again left wondering why people insist on celebrating with turkey. OK, yes there’s tradition, but with so many other delicious things to eat, why waste an occasion on a big butter-injected buzzard?  Why not indulge in something really delish? Something like oysters, hot sauce and white wine.

Breaking news: the 10-year old typist placed 58th in over 1000 runners most of whom were adults.
Usually it rains for the Bluenose Marathon held every year on this weekend.
This year we were lucky: it only drizzled.

I spotted these tulips in late spring. They were growing at the entrance of my city’s lovely Victorian Public Gardens.
